We are seeking dedicated and efficient Picker/Packers to join our dynamic warehouse team in San Jose, California. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and meticulously packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Inspect items for defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory and order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Proficiency in basic math and reading skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Safety & PPE:
Your safety is our top priority. You will be provided with all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety vests and gloves. Adherence to all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques, is mandatory to ensure a safe working environment for everyone. Understanding and practicing good logistics and warehouse safety procedures will be a key aspect of your success in this role.
