We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Orlando, Florida. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, and supporting our overall supply chain. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the management and tracking of our vast inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Update inventory records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS) promptly and accurately.
- Receive and process incoming inventory, ensuring proper documentation and storage.
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations as needed, including order picking and packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to optimize inventory control processes.
- Monitor stock levels and report any low stock or overstock situations.
- Operate scanning equipment and other inventory management tools.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and WMS.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to perform Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Safety guidelines.
- Must be willing to wear required PPE , including safety glasses and gloves.
