We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your primary duties will involve loading and unloading trailers, transporting materials throughout the warehouse, and ensuring inventory accuracy. This position is crucial to our daily logistics operations, requiring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. You will work closely with other warehouse staff and management to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a proven track record of safe forklift operation. We emphasize the importance of following all established safety protocols and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and **Lifting** up to 50 pounds. A commitment to **Safety** is paramount. You will also be expected to assist with general warehouse duties as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the facility. Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
