Job Summary:
Our Madison, Wisconsin facility is seeking a dependable and energetic Material Handler to support our busy warehouse operations. As a Material Handler, you will be instrumental in the efficient movement and organization of goods within the facility. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, and staging materials. This role requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work effectively in a team, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. We emphasize continuous improvement and expect our team members to contribute to streamlining our logistics processes. Expect regular lifting and the consistent use of appropriate PPE. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
  • Sort, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick and stage materials accurately for outgoing shipments.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
  • Assist with inventory counts and record keeping.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
  • Report any safety hazards or equipment issues immediately.
  • Support other warehouse functions as needed to ensure smooth logistics flow.
  • Contribute to team efforts to improve efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
  • Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
