Customs and Border Protection Officer Job Description


This is a career ladder position with opportunities for growth and advancement. As a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding America's borders, enforcing laws and regulations, and ensuring the security of our nation.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations through inspections of individuals and conveyances
  • Determine admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States
  • Conduct thorough searches to prevent illegal entry of individuals or prohibited goods into the United States

Candidate Requirements:
  • Citizenship: The candidate must be a U.S citizen at time of appointment . To apply , he/she has primary U S residency including protectorates declared under international law )for least three(5 years ) Or demonstrate eligibility under law enforcement retirement provisions as defined by Public Law title V USC c)(d) >
