About the Role
The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Customs Officers. In this exciting position, you will be responsible for enforcing customs laws and regulations while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
Main Responsibilities:
- Enforce customs laws and regulations related to imports, exports, duties, taxes, trade compliance policies,
- Facilitate legitimate trade by processing shipments through clearance procedures without compromising security or revenue requirements,
- Serve at ports of entry ensuring that travelers comply with relevant immigration requirements under Title 8 U.S.C., Section , most often relating to duty-free allowances on goods brought into the United States.
