Duties

• Enforce laws and regulations related to customs, immigration, and agriculture


• Facilitate legitimate trade and travel while preventing illicit activity


• Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances


• Determine admissibility for entry into the United States


• Prevent illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods as well as smuggling of contraband
