Border Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs and Border Protection Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.

• The ideal candidate will have experience in law enforcement, including detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws and/or arresting violators using proper methods.
• They should also be proficient in utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats and perform risk assessments for violations of laws and threats to national security.

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes: detaining suspected violators; enforcing laws relating to importing/exporting merchandise; conducting interviews in a law enforcement capacity; making rapid judgments with respect to applying regulations/procedures;


• Candidates may substitute graduate-level education or a combination of both for some relevant work experience.
