As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the nation's borders and enforcing laws related to immigration and customs. Your mission will be to detect and prevent illegal entry of individuals and contraband into the United States.

The work is physically demanding and requires agents to operate in remote areas with limited resources. You must be able to think critically, make sound judgments, and exercise good judgment when dealing with complex situations.

• Preventing unauthorized border crossings by maintaining surveillance from covert positions
