**Customs and Border Protection Officer Job Summary:**

A Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer is a vital member of the Department of Homeland Security workforce, responsible for safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations to ensure compliance with U.S. policies.


• Facilitate legitimate trade and travel while preventing illegal entry of individuals or goods into the United States.


• Conduct inspections of people, documents, or goods to detect criminal activity or contraband.

• a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR
  √ years full-time general work experience that demonstrates ability to meet & deal with people AND learn/apply body of facts; OR
  √ combination successfully completed college education & general work experience;
