Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Repair or replace faulty components, including belts, gears, motors, and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure minimal downtime during repairs.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations during maintenance procedures.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades as needed.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Good communication skills for documenting work and collaborating with team members.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Nice-to-have skills include experience with computerized diagnostic tools and welding or fabrication abilities.
