Murex DevOps Operations Consultant

• Environment deployment and Management Operations
  
• Deploy and manage Murex Software needed for Murex client projects using Murex tools and scripts
  
• Perform basic smoke tests before delivering the needed products
  
• Act as a first level support for already deployed Murex products redirecting and following the issues with the corresponding support teams
  
• Performing system health checks and diagnostics RAM CPU processes etc to ensure optimal performance and uptime
  
• Automating routine tasks
  

Conversion of a customer database

• Perform database sanitization and purging procedures
  
• Migration sequence execution and stabilization
  

Setting Methodologies and Procedures

• Contribute to creating the environment and configuration management methodologies conversion processes communication workflows and needed templates and documentation
  
• Customize and document the installation and the conversion upgrade procedures
  
• Deliver needed training and best practices for Clients and project teams
  
• Manage internal streams contribute to creating tools measure related KPIs and analyze potential issues
  

Technical Skills

• Degree in Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology Engineering or related discipline
  
• Experience with scripting languages
  
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  
• Strong communication skills
  
• Knowledge of technical machine specifications
  
• Knowledge of XML manipulations
  
• Knowledge of UNIX Operations with hands on expertise in command line operations
  
• Knowledge of RDMS Operations
  
• Understanding of the Financial markets
