About the opportunity

Education Services provides high quality, relevant and accessible educational programming to members, students, internationally trained professionals and business professionals. The group includes experts in both subject matter and instructional design who shape the future of the accounting profession by managing education and examinations for qualification.

Reporting to the Manager, CFE, the Examination Coordinator will be responsible for the Continuing Education item banking management and coordination; exam booklet printing/shipping; candidate response retrieval and reconciliation; marking centre management; results appeals and administration for assigned examinations.

This hybrid role will be aligned to CPA Canada's Toronto location. The targeted annual salary range for this position is $62,000 to $72,000 and is commensurate with experience.

What you'll do

In this role, you will:

  • Reconcile candidate responses with attendee lists and investigate missing files
  • Create exams in marking centre management system including candidates and marker profiles
  • Provide marking centre administrative support and upload candidate responses in the marking centre management system
  • Issue contract project schedules and process contractor invoices in the expense management system
  • Plan on-site and off-site meetings by coordinating between venues and meeting attendees
  • Format the examination booklets according to writing style guidelines and coordinate with Continuing Education
  • Coordinate and disperse examination material to provinces across Canada
  • Other duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
     
What we're looking for


The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • University or College degree
  • Previous experience or understanding of workflow projects
  • Exposure to examination assessment procedures and processes
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects, meet deadlines and document procedures
  • Experience in managing travel bookings and coordinating with venue availability
  • Proven analytical, organizational and time management skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to work outside normal 9-5 hours (includes weekends)
