This is NOT a basic client portal.
This is an API-heavy service orchestration system.
We are official Synup partners with full API provisioning rights.
We are migrating billing to Recurly.
We use Twilio for SMS and will use for scheduling.
The platform will become the single source of truth for:
• Lead → Client lifecycle (mini-CRM)
• Service work orders (Voice, GBP/GMB, Onboarding, DMM, Website, Social, Chatbot)
• Time-based SLA escalation engine (24h / 48h / 96h)
• Synup provisioning and verification sync via API
• Twilio automated SMS flows (no manual messaging)
• scheduling via webhooks
• Recurly subscription lifecycle sync
• Internal role-based dashboards
• Basic client-facing progress view
Internal first. White-label capable later.
Technical Expectations
We need a senior backend engineer who can:
• Design a clean relational schema in PostgreSQL (Supabase)
• Implement Row Level Security (RLS) correctly
• Build event-driven state transitions
• Handle webhook ingestion and retries (Synup, Recurly, )
• Implement background jobs / scheduled workers
• Build a reliable SLA escalation engine
• Abstract external services (Synup, Twilio, Calendar) cleanly
• Log and audit state changes
This is architecture-heavy work.
We are NOT looking for:
• Junior developers
• WordPress-only developers
• No-code / Bubble builders
• Frontend-only engineers
Phase 1 Scope
• Core DB schema
• Client + Service Work Order models
• SLA + escalation engine
• Synup provisioning integration
• Twilio automation flows
• Calendar webhook integration
• Recurly subscription sync
• Internal dashboard for onboarding + GBP
White-label features come later.

We are looking for a senior-level backend architect.
Estimated engagement: 4–6 week intensive MVP build.
Contract duration of 3 to 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: PostgreSQL, Supabase, Software Architecture & Design, Webhook Integration, RESTful API, API Development, Twilio API, , Laravel
