About the Role
We partner with global enterprises to design and build large-scale data platforms that power digital products used by millions of users. Our work involves complex data ecosystems, cloud-native architectures, and high-volume, high-impact use cases.
We're looking for a Senior Solution Architect with deep Databricks and AWS experience to lead the design of scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions. This is a senior, hands-on architecture role with strong ownership over technical decisions and client-facing impact.
What You'll Do
Design end-to-end data architectures on AWS, with Databricks at the core
Own architectural decisions across data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and platform integrations
Translate complex business and product requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions
Define standards, patterns, and best practices for building with PySpark, Python, SQL, and Databricks
Act as a technical leader and advisor for engineering teams
Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment and long-term scalability
Review designs and implementations to ensure performance, security, reliability, and cost efficiency
What We're Looking For
8+ years of experience in data engineering, solution architecture, or related roles
Proven experience designing enterprise-grade data platforms and architectures
Deep, hands-on expertise with: Databricks (production and architectural experience required), AWS, PySpark, Python and SQL
Strong understanding of: Distributed data systems, Cloud-native architecture principles and Data modeling and integration patterns
Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Fluent English, both written and spoken
Salary
Salary range: CA$104,000 - CA$222,000 annually, with final compensation determined by your qualifications, expertise, experience, and the role's scope.
Location:
This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be based in regions that align with the Pacific, Central, or Eastern U.S. time zones to ensure effective collaboration with client and team schedules.

Position Details
This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
