We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled CAD Designer with a strong background in consumer product design. The ideal candidate combines technical precision with creative flair — someone capable of transforming ideas into attractive, manufacturable products ready for prototyping and production.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop a a consumer product based on our 2D concepts.
* Create an aesthetically appealing, functional, and manufacturable high-quality CAD models and assemblies suitable for rapid prototyping, 3D printing, or manufacturing.
* Collaborate closely with our creative team to refine concepts, engineering, and ensure feasibility.
* Apply a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing methods.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in consumer product design (portfolio required).
* Advanced proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, OpenCAD, or similar).
* Strong understanding of product engineering, materials, and manufacturing processes.
* Ability to generate production-ready CAD files and documentation for prototyping.
* A keen eye for aesthetics, ergonomics, and design details.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
* Must be willing to work under a Confidentiality and Non-Compete Agreement.
Preferred Skills
* Experience with designing for 3D printing, rapid prototyping, and model rendering.
* Knowledge of DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing & Assembly) principles.
* Familiarity with consumer electronics, household goods, or lifestyle product categories.
