Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our company's growth. If you are passionate about precision and thrive in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Perform full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and month-end close.
Assist with prepariing financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Assist with bank statements, credit card statements, and vendor accounts regularly.
Process invoices, payments, expense reports, and maintain accurate financial records.
Contribute to HST filings, payroll remittances, WSIB, and other statutory reporting requirements.
Oversee inventory accounting, track stock levels, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and ensure accurate costing.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Support year-end audit processes and liaise with external accountants.
Maintain accurate financial documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
Provide senior accounting team with financial analysis, cost tracking, and performance insights.
Assist with process improvements and implementation of accounting best practices.
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of accounting experience (preferably in a small-to-medium-sized business).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, inventory accounting, and full-cycle bookkeeping.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Odoo or similar).
Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
