I'm looking for a thoughtful, detail-oriented short-form video editor to support my growing content ecosystem.
This role is focused on helping me increase content volume in a structured, strategic way. I'm currently editing and scheduling everything myself, and I'm ready to bring on someone who can help streamline and scale this process.
Scope of Work
Produce 1 short-form video per day (approx. 60 seconds)
Batch-edit content 1–2 weeks in advance (ideally 2 weeks)
Work from:
A shared iMessage photo/video album (large existing content library)
Pre-recorded voiceovers I provide
Create clean, simple montage-style or talking head edits
Ensure strong pacing, hooks, and subtitles
Track weekly impressions and provide a short summary of performance
Editing style is straightforward and efficient — this is not cinematic YouTube production. I value clarity, structure, and consistency over heavy effects.
What I'm Looking For
Someone who:
Is comfortable working with metrics (impressions, growth, performance trends)
Understands basic business language (funnels, leads, conversions)
Can thoughtfully share insights like:
"This style performs well — we should do more of it."
"We may need more footage like X to hit our goals."
Is organized and responsive
Is comfortable collaborating via Slack
Wants to feel like part of a small but focused team
Bonus (not required):
If you use an iPhone or are comfortable navigating iMessage albums, that's helpful but not required.
Budget & Structure
Starting budget: $500/month
The role begins part-time and structured. As performance and volume increase, there is potential to expand hours and scope over time.
My goal is to build a steady, sustainable working relationship — not a high-stress environment. Clear communication and consistency matter most.
Contract duration of less than 1 month.
