Join our team as a Picker/Packer in Minneapolis, Minnesota! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, focusing on accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring they are packed securely and correctly. Your attention to detail and speed are crucial for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. We are looking for reliable individuals who are committed to safety and operational excellence within a busy warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Verify picked items against order specifications.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, selecting the right packaging materials.
- Label packages for shipping.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies, including correct PPE usage.
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts.
- Support the logistics team with other tasks as assigned.
- Must be capable of regular Lifting and moving of products.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring physical activity.
- Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Basic math and communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics and safety procedures.
