This position requires a blend of technical aptitude and operational knowledge within a warehouse setting. Responsibilities include equipment calibration and maintenance, inventory tracking, ensuring proper storage conditions, and assisting with the flow of goods through our distribution center. We uphold the highest standards of Safety , requiring all personnel to strictly adhere to safety protocols and utilize appropriate PPE . The role involves regular physical activity, including moderate Lifting and maneuvering of equipment and materials, often exceeding 50 pounds. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in technical support or warehouse operations within the Logistics industry. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on warehouse equipment.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
- Ensure the safe and organized storage of all materials and equipment.
- Operate specialized warehouse machinery and tools.
- Assist in the receiving and shipping processes.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE , including safety harnesses, gloves, and eye protection as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues.
- Contribute to the optimization of our Logistics processes.
- Handle physical tasks, including Lifting and moving equipment and supplies.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance, inventory, and operational activities.
- Support other warehouse staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar technical/operational role.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including Lifting up to 60 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment maintenance and inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with Logistics operations and best practices.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety and proficient use of PPE .
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
