Join our expanding logistics network as a Warehouse Associate in Durham, North Carolina. This role is fundamental to our daily operations, encompassing a wide range of tasks from receiving and storing goods to picking, packing, and shipping orders. We are looking for energetic and dedicated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be responsible for managing inventory, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. A strong commitment to workplace Safety is paramount; you will be required to use and maintain appropriate PPE at all times. The ability to perform regular Lifting of materials, up to 50 pounds, is essential for this position. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Ensure all shipments are accurately labeled and documented.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Properly wear and maintain all required PPE .
- Support the efficient flow of goods within the Logistics chain.
- Assist with loading outbound trucks.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Contribute to team goals and operational targets.
- Regular physical activity, including significant Lifting and movement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding role, including frequent Lifting .
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
- Commitment to adhering to all Safety protocols and the use of PPE .
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
