Join our efficient logistics team in Richmond, Virginia, as a Forklift Operator! We are seeking experienced and safety-focused individuals to ensure the smooth flow of goods within our facility. In this role, you will operate various types of forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials, contributing directly to our operational success. The ideal candidate possesses a current forklift certification, a strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures, and a commitment to accuracy and productivity. You will be responsible for inspecting your forklift before each shift, performing routine checks, and reporting any mechanical issues. Key responsibilities include moving pallets of inventory, staging orders for shipment, and assisting with stock put-away. Accurate record-keeping of inventory movements is also part of the job. Effective communication and cooperation with other warehouse staff and supervisors are essential for maintaining optimal workflow. We enforce strict adherence to PPE requirements, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests, to ensure a safe working environment. While operating the forklift is the primary duty, some manual Lifting may be necessary when securing loads or handling smaller items. This position is integral to our logistics network, directly impacting efficiency and timely deliveries. We prioritize workplace safety above all else and provide ongoing training and support to uphold the highest safety standards.
