We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our thriving warehouse facility in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is fundamental to our e-commerce operations, involving the careful selection and packaging of customer orders. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and presentation of shipments that go out to our valued customers. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to maintain an efficient workflow and contribute to the overall success of our logistics network. This position requires a proactive approach to task completion and a strong commitment to quality. Responsibilities:
- Receive orders and pick the correct items from inventory locations using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Inspect items for damage and ensure they meet quality standards before packaging.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipment, using correct materials and methods.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Follow all established Safety guidelines and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Achieve set performance metrics for picking and packing accuracy and speed.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to efficiently use scanning equipment and computer systems.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Capacity to handle moderate Lifting, up to 45 lbs, regularly.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- A strong commitment to workplace Safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes physically demanding environment.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
