We are looking for dependable Warehouse Workers to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! This position is fundamental to our daily logistics operations, involving a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth flow of products. Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment. A strong commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and most importantly, Safety, is required. We provide a comprehensive work environment where adherence to all protocols, including the correct use of PPE, is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload shipments from trucks.
- Inspect incoming goods for damage and accuracy.
- Stock shelves and storage locations with received inventory.
- Pick customer orders accurately based on order slips or scanner data.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures diligently.
- Ensure the consistent use of required PPE throughout the shift.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including consistent Lifting of up to 45 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and Safety practices.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive work attitude.
