Our Orlando, Florida facility is looking for an organized and motivated Warehouse Coordinator to oversee daily warehouse operations. This vital role involves managing inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our logistics network. The Warehouse Coordinator will supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and support to ensure productivity and adherence to safety standards. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing warehouse layout, and implementing procedures to improve efficiency. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with drivers, suppliers, and internal departments. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a dedication to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable. You will play a key role in ensuring timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of warehouse management best practices and a commitment to continuous improvement. Regular training on safety protocols and the use of PPE will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits.
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficiency and safety.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures, including safe lifting practices.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse coordination or supervision.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency with warehouse management software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills.
