We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Worker to join our team in Durham, North Carolina. This role involves a variety of tasks crucial to the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to our overall Logistics success. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, and preparing goods for shipment. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to Safety are essential for this position. We are committed to providing a secure and productive work environment for all our employees.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming inventory and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
- Organize and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick orders accurately based on customer requirements.
- Package items for shipment, ensuring proper protection.
- Load and unload delivery trucks as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially concerning Safety.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as directed.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform tasks involving physical exertion, including significant Lifting.
- Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Safety protocols.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of fundamental Logistics principles is beneficial.
