Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Nashville, Tennessee. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring efficiency, productivity, and the highest standards of safety and accuracy within our logistics facility. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), and a commitment to fostering a positive and safe work environment. You will be responsible for team performance, process improvement, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ensure efficient workflow and optimal use of warehouse space and resources.
  • Implement and enforce all company safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety training and inspections.
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee cycle counting processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and logistics partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Champion a culture of safety, ensuring proper use of PPE and adherence to safe lifting practices.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and address concerns.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a leadership role within a logistics environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and WMS.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • In-depth understanding of safety regulations and best practices, including PPE and lifting techniques.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Experience with lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
