Join our fast-paced logistics team as an Order Picker in Phoenix, Arizona! We are looking for motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive the right products on time. Your primary responsibilities will include locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves, preparing them for shipment, and maintaining a high level of productivity. This role demands attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. You will be working within a dynamic environment where efficiency and accuracy are paramount to our success in the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order lists or scanning equipment.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Perform regular checks on equipment and report any issues.
- Contribute to inventory control by accurately scanning and reporting picked items.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Adhere to all safe lifting practices to prevent injury.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists and labels.
- Proficiency in using scanning equipment and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
- Understanding of general logistics operations.
