Join our growing team as a Forklift Operator in Miami, Florida! This role is critical for the efficient movement of materials within our distribution center. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory, and transport goods to designated areas. A strong emphasis is placed on safety and precision in all operations. You will work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to ensure a smooth and continuous workflow, supporting our overall logistics network. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent spatial awareness, and a commitment to following all operating procedures and safety guidelines. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is also a key responsibility. We are looking for individuals who are safety-conscious, reliable, and have a proven track record of operating heavy machinery responsibly. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our inventory and ensuring timely fulfillment of orders. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Transport materials and finished goods within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated locations.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and record-keeping.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Familiarity with logistics operations.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
