Seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, performing physical inventory audits, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, managing stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO), and maintaining organized storage locations. You will also be involved in receiving and put-away processes, ensuring that all items are accurately recorded and stored. This position requires a meticulous approach, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of inventory management best practices within a **Logistics** environment. A commitment to **Safety** is paramount; you will ensure all warehouse operations, including your own, adhere to **Safety** regulations and utilize appropriate **PPE**. The role may involve **Lifting** of materials, up to 30 pounds occasionally. You will work closely with warehouse supervisors, shipping, and receiving teams to streamline inventory processes and minimize stockouts or overstock situations. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology is essential. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent problem-solving abilities.
