We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators for our facility in Des Moines, Iowa. This is a key role within our logistics department, focused on the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout our warehouse. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trailers, moving inventory to and from storage areas, and staging materials for production or shipment. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, a strong safety record, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations. You will be expected to perform daily equipment checks and maintain a clean and orderly work area. Adherence to all safety procedures and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is paramount. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle significant lifting, and operate various types of forklifts. Teamwork and communication skills are vital for success. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
