Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a great opportunity in Seattle, Washington? Our rapidly growing distribution center is seeking a skilled professional to join our dedicated team. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is integral to our overall logistics operation, ensuring smooth transitions of goods within the facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record, excellent operational skills, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds. We emphasize a culture of safety and require all team members to adhere to strict guidelines and wear appropriate PPE . Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks and containers accurately.
- Transport inventory to and from designated areas.
- Perform daily pre-use inspections of forklifts.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations, utilizing required PPE .
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Report any operational issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow.
- Support shipping and receiving departments as needed.
