This position requires good technical expertise, involves handling support incidents and service requests and contributing to major infrastructure projects .
You will be focusing on:
- Diagnose and resolve network issues across SD-WAN, LAN (Cisco Catalyst 9300/9500, Nexus 9K), WLAN, and security platforms (firewalls).
- Configure and support advanced switching technologies including VLANs, PVLANs, Layer 3 switching, ACLs, Spanning Tree (MST/PVST), IOS/CatOS/NX-OS, Nexus vPC, VDC, FabricPath, and FEX.
- Apply strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, VPN,DMZ,SMTP/S, HTTP/S, S/FTP, IPsec, SSL/TLS/SSH, LDAP, and DNS.
- Utilize knowledge of infrastructure cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, multimode/single-mode fiber) and transceivers (SFPs, GBICs) to support physical network deployments.
- Manage enterprise routing using EIGRP, BGP, and OSPF.
- Proficient in the configuration and support of wireless networks (preferably Aruba) and Wi‑Fi platforms, with responsibilities such as SSID setup, basic access point configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Network Access Control (NAC) technologies (preferably Aruba ClearPass), including AAA concepts such as TACACS+ and RADIUS, for tasks like device onboarding and authentication troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking (preferably Microsoft Azure), including ExpressRoute, route table design and management, and cloud‑based VPN solutions.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls (preferably checkpoint), including complex NAT scenarios, security policy rule sets, and traffic inspection policies.
- Represent the Data Centre and Networking team on key projects and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Develop and maintain documentation including network designs, project deliverables, SOPs, and knowledge-base articles.
- Experience with network monitoring and alerting tools (preferably the SolarWinds platform), including configuring and interpreting ICMP and SNMP‑based monitoring, analyzing device health and performance metrics, creating dashboards, and responding to alerts to ensure proactive network visibility and uptime
- Contribute to network governance, standardization, and operational excellence.
- Perform project-related tasks and support activities during regular business hours, with occasional work required outside standard hours.
- Adhere to infrastructure architecture standards relevant to the legal industry.
- Resolve support tickets assigned to the Data Centre and Networks team, ensuring timely troubleshooting, documentation, and follow‑up.
- Raise, manage, and present changes in CAB meetings, and implement approved changes as needed.
- Experience working with IT ticket management systems (preferably ServiceNow), including creating, updating, tracking, and closing incidents, requests, and change records in alignment with ITIL processes.
- Represent the Data Centre and Networks team on P1 calls/bridges, assisting in the troubleshooting and resolution of major incidents.
- Experience with Zscaler ZIA/ZPA is a strong asset.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science/Network Communications.
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, Network+, CCNP, CCIE, CISSP).
- 5–7 years' experience in network analysis, operations, and vendor management.
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, CheckPoint, and network access control.
- Proficient with Cisco switching/routing (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and large‑scale VLAN architectures (VRRP, HSRP).
- Experience with Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA) and HPE Aruba wireless solutions.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Cloud services (Azure, O365, Teams).
- Skilled in network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Strong understanding of network security, audits, and vulnerability assessments.
- Familiar with tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, and configuration/management platforms.

The salary bands provided reflect the typical range for this role in the region indicated. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of experiences and skills, and final compensation will be thoughtfully determined based on individual qualifications and current market factors.
