We have an immediate need for an Integrated Communications Manager to join our team. In this role, you will responsible for the development and execution of internal and external campaigns that will support business goals and manage our reputation. The communications strategies will cover internal and external channels including employee engagement, public relations, tradeshow events and digital media.  This position will support a matrixed organization and will report into the Communications Director.

What You Will Do:

  • Championing strategic relationships with key business stakeholders across the company, including functions and business areas
  • Responsible for leading the development and execution of unified communications campaign plans to support key business area pursuits and initiatives across international markets for defence.
  • Leading the development of corporate social responsibility campaign plans to support initiatives across armed forces charities, STEM and community programmes
  • Preparing and aligning messages across platforms such as Linkedin, All Hands and the company intranet.
  • Support to the digital and social media storytelling through the creation of original feature articles, videos, photographs, etc.
  • Developing key messages, talking points, news releases and site communications.

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • A University Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Psychology or Marketing related disciplines
  • Minimum of 5 years' demonstrated experience planning, directing or coordinating comprehensive marketing, public relations or strategic communications efforts within private sector organizations.
  • Proactive & creative mind with the ability to pull together team resources for maximum impact campaigns.
  • Ability to work across different time zones and in a matrixed organization
  • An individual who thrives on campaign planning and achieving results.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Confident communicator who can develop key messages, talking points, speeches and news releases.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Proven media relations experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the technology industry, defence, aerospace or related industry is an advantage for this role.

This position involves technologies regulated by the Canadian government's Controlled Goods Program and the Contract Security Program. The salary range for this role is 101,500 CAD - 151,500 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
RTX offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental coverage, disability benefits, a retirement savings program, and tuition assistance through RTX's Employee Scholar Program. Eligibility for specific benefits is based on factors such as position level, employment type (e.g., temporary or permanent), and business unit, and will be discussed during the hiring process.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
