Your responsibilities will include verifying order accuracy, preparing shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining organized shipping records. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to established procedures.
- Verify the contents of outgoing shipments against order details.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation for all outbound packages.
- Coordinate with various shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Maintain an organized and tidy shipping area, ensuring all materials are properly stored.
- Operate scanning equipment and use warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and shipments.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding shipment status and any discrepancies.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to overall team efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier portals is an advantage.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all guidelines.
