Why This Role is Perfect for YouWe collaborate with schools and local authorities in your area, seeking passionate SEND Tutors and Teachers to support young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. If you have a genuine desire to help disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners, this is your chance to take control of your teaching journey!
Your Responsibilities- Provide in-person, online, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
- Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
- Regularly report on student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Experience: 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
- Subjects: Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
- Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can assist with this) and 2+ professional references.
- Location: Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote roles.
- Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding practices and creating a safe learning environment.
