We have an exciting opportunity to join us here at Covéa Insurance as a Recruitment Specialist (FTC) , within our Recruitment Team!
This position is a 12‑month fixed term contract to provide support during a period of maternity leave.

The Recruitment Team play an important role in bringing great people into Covéa. This is a hybrid position, combining the best of both worlds - working from home and spending time in our Halifax office.

Where will I make an impact?
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs and shape effective recruitment plans.
- Find and attract candidates through job boards, databases and other sourcing methods.
- Support hiring managers by screening applicants and assessing skills, experience and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interviews and keep the process running smoothly for hiring managers and candidates.
- Guide and support candidates, employees and hiring managers at every stage of recruitment.
- Keep recruitment data accurate and up to date in our talent software, Workday.
- Help develop initiatives that encourage internal mobility and career growth.
- Partner with the business and community groups to ensure recruitment is inclusive, accessible and fair.
- Stay informed on recruitment trends and best practices to continually improve our approach.

- Passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and confident in applying these principles throughout the hiring journey.
- Comfortable using HRIS or applicant tracking systems – plus experience with Workday is a great bonus, but not essential!
