Conduct monitoring and performance assessments across highly parallel software applications across varied deployment models (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Virtualization, bare metal).
Employ strong analytical skills to troubleshoot network issues, identify optimization possibilities, collect relevant data, and determine root causes with actionable solutions.
Create and maintain predictive models for system behavior based on configurations and emerging technologies.
Provide remote engineering support to product development teams and assist customer services teams in solving complex issues.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to foster consensus and resolve challenges collaboratively.
Demonstrate exceptional teamwork by working towards shared goals and resolving problems for collective achievement.
Engage closely with project leaders, managers, and other stakeholders to participate in multi-faceted projects.
Collaborative Environment You will become part of a dedicated team engaged in assessing, designing, and supporting on-premises systems, focused on delivering scalable enterprise analytics. You will report to the Platform Infrastructure Engineering organization. Qualifications: Must have US Permanent Residence.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s/Ph.D. with 7 years of experience.
Extensive understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, Spanning Tree, EVPN, VRF, QoS, and related technologies.
Practical troubleshooting experience with LAN, WAN, and packet analysis.
Familiarity with LINUX internals and administration.
Experience with routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls across cloud and on-premises platforms.
Experience in High Performance Computing (HPC) networking.
Proficiency in network configuration automation using scripting languages and DevOps tools.
Experience building network infrastructure in a SaaS environment, whether in the cloud or on-premises.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
What You Bring: Knowledge of computer system components, including processors, memory, storage, and network adapters.
Familiarity with high-speed networking and storage solutions.
Detail-oriented to ensure accurate documentation is maintained in alignment with design and manufacturing requirements.
