Information Technology (IT) Manager
to serve as the
sole, hands-on IT professional
for a Kuki`o Golf and Beach Club! This role is responsible for day-to-day technical support, system administration, and strategic oversight of all club technology. The ideal candidate is a strong generalist who enjoys being on the floor, solving problems in real time, and partnering closely with department leaders in a hospitality-driven, member-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary and sole point of contact for all IT needs across the club
Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, POS systems, and AV equipment
Manage and maintain network infrastructure, servers, cloud services, Wi‑Fi, and telecommunications
Support and troubleshoot member-facing and back-of-house systems including POS, member management, accounting, and HR/payroll platforms
Implement and monitor cybersecurity practices, data protection, backups, and disaster recovery procedures
Coordinate with external vendors and managed service providers for specialized projects or escalations
Lead system upgrades, software rollouts, patches, and hardware refreshes
Develop and maintain IT documentation, policies, and procedures
Train staff on systems usage, security awareness, and basic troubleshooting
Manage IT budget, contracts, licensing, and technology inventory
Provide on-call and after-hours support as required to support club operations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
Minimum of
5+ years of broad IT experience , preferably in a
solo or lead role
Prior experience supporting hospitality, private clubs, hotels, or service-oriented environments strongly preferred
Strong working knowledge of networking, servers, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and endpoint management
Experience supporting POS systems, member management platforms, and AV technology
Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage competing demands
Excellent communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset
