Job Opportunity: Border Patrol Agent

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our team as Border Patrol Agents.

This is a career ladder position with opportunities for advancement. As a BPA, you will be responsible for performing various duties including detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions, and maintaining surveillance from covert positions.

The ideal candidate will have one year of general work experience or education that demonstrates the ability to make sound judgments and decisions in stressful situations. They should also possess excellent communication skills and be able to analyze information rapidly.

The selected candidates will undergo six months of intensive training at the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico. The training program includes instruction on immigration law enforcement procedures, firearms safety, physical techniques, driver training, language proficiency (English/Spanish), and other specialized courses.

• The starting salary range for this position varies depending on location; however it generally falls between $49,'739 - $89,'518 per year
• BPs can potentially earn up to 25% more after becoming fully trained under certain circumstances (pay reform)
