Becoming a Border Protection Specialist

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking highly skilled individuals to join their team as Border Patrol Agents.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in law enforcement, safeguarding America's borders while ensuring public safety and economic prosperity.

• Detect, question, and inspect individuals suspected of violating immigration laws and customs regulations;
• Prevent undocumented entry attempts at or near border locations by maintaining surveillance using various techniques;
• Analyze tracks, marks, and other evidence to identify potential illegal activities;

The ability to speak fluently in English with reading skills is necessary for this position. Proficiency in Spanish will be advantageous but not required initially. Training will be provided at the U.S. Border Patrol Academy.
