Secure the Borders

The objective of the Border Patrol Agent position is to safeguard national security and uphold immigration laws by identifying and apprehending individuals who violate border regulations.

• Key responsibilities include detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations, preventing undocumented noncitizens at or near borders.

The successful candidate will have one year of relevant work experience demonstrating ability to take charge, make sound decisions under stressful situations. They will also be required to learn regulations through classroom training and/or on-the-job instruction .
