Customs Security Officer

The U.S. Border Patrol is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to fill entry-level positions as Border Patrol Agents (BPAs). As a BPA, you will be part of a team responsible for safeguarding the nation's borders, preventing illicit activity, and enhancing economic prosperity.

Your primary responsibilities will include detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations, preventing and apprehending undocumented non-citizens and smugglers at or near the borders.

• Detective work involving surveillance from covert positions during night operations using infrared scopes
• Questioning people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters
