**Job Title:** Border Patrol Officer
Border patrol officers are responsible for enforcing customs and immigration laws along the U.S. borders, as well as other areas designated by Congress.
About this role: We're looking for dedicated individuals who can join our team of border patrol agents to protect the American people from threats in a dynamic environment.
- Please note that candidates must have primary U.S. residency (includes protectorates as declared under international law) for at least three of the last five years to be eligible for selection.
- The age restriction may not apply if you are currently serving or have previously served in a federal civilian law enforcement (non-military) position covered by Title 5 U.S.C. 8336(c) or Title 5 U.S.C. 8412(d).
- You'll need to pass physical fitness tests and provide proof of proficiency in Spanish prior to appointment.
