Border Protection Professional

Job Description: As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be responsible for protecting the American people by safeguarding our borders and preventing the flow of illicit goods. Your primary duties will include detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations, preventing and apprehending aliens at or near the borders, interpreting physical evidence such as tracks and marks related to illegal entry.

Required Skills And Qualifications: To qualify for this position, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GL-9 grade level. This includes performing duties such as apprehending violators using surveillance detection equipment; gathering intelligence information from various sources; leading investigations into fraud cases including contraband transportations resulting in valuable arrest data.
