  • Enforcing customs laws and regulations
  • Facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel
A typical assignment involves enforcing laws & regulations relating to importing/exporting & conducting inspections/interviews. The officer must be able to make rapid judgments & decisions under pressure while utilizing intelligence techniques & behavior analysis.

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen
Age Restriction: Candidates must not exceed 40 years old at time of appointment or meet specific requirements as defined in Departmental Directive #251-03
