This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about law enforcement and dedicated to serving their country. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be responsible for detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations, preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders.
Purpose of Position
- To protect America by deterring illicit activity;
- To safeguard the nation's borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions;
- To prevent illegal entry into the United States by developing strategies with colleagues across multiple locations.'
