Border Security Specialist

As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be part of an elite team dedicated to safeguarding the nation's borders and enforcing immigration laws.

You will work closely with other law enforcement agencies to identify and apprehend individuals who violate border security regulations.

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws
• Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders

To qualify for this role, you must meet one of the following requirements:

• Have one year of general work experience demonstrating leadership skills, sound decision-making, and composure in stressful situations;


• Possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR have successfully completed a full four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university AND have relevant work experience;


• A combination of general work experience AND successfully completed college education that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.​​
