Border Patrol Agent - Experienced

This role is perfect for those who want to make a difference in law enforcement while working on the US border.


About the Job:
As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be responsible for safeguarding our nation's borders and protecting American citizens. You will work closely with other agencies to prevent illegal activities and apprehend violators of immigration laws.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • You must have one year of specialized experience performing duties such as detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions, preventing and apprehending aliens at or near the borders.
The GL-9 grade level requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university , plus either one full academic year of graduate-level study or superior academic achievement. The GS-11 grade level requires a master's or equivalent graduate degree from an accredited college or university . Additionally, both levels require relevant professional experience in a field related to law enforcement.If you have previous military service that meets these requirements, you may also qualify. There are no education substitutions for this position.
