Border Patrol Agent Job Description

The U.S. Border Patrol is hiring for full-time, entry-level Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) opportunities. As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders.

**Job Responsibilities:**

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and custom laws.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders.
• Interpret tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband.
• Perform farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in any field leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university;
